I joined the Bar lab as a postdoc in April 2016. Before, I worked at the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences as a PhD student and postdoc. I obtained a doctor's degree in psychology from the University of Leipzig, Germany.
My research explores how regularities, associations, and expectations influence various decisions and judgments, and how structures of our environment are learned and represented in the brain. It also addresses how specific tasks, contexts, and traits modulate expectation processes.
I use behavioral experiments and functional imaging to address my research questions.
