About Internet Research

ISSN: 1066-2243

Internet Research was the venue in which Prof. Sir Tim Berners-Lee et al. published the first journal article on "World Wide Web: The Information Universe",  Marc Andreessen with Eric Bina published their first journal paper on the "NCSA Mosaic: A Global Hypermedia System”, and Mitch Kapor presented his earliest thoughts on "Developing the National Communications and Information Infrastructure”.  The Journal continues to source and publish some of the most interesting and innovative Internet-related research being done today.

Internet Research and Emerald Group Publishers are proud sponsors of the annual International World Wide Web Conference:

WWW2005

The first publication to seriously debate the Internet as a powerful resource, Internet Research still leads the field in fostering understanding of telecommunication networks in society. In addition to looking at the technological developments which facilitate their increasing use, this journal also examines the social, ethical, economic and political implications which arises from mass public access to a wealth of information. If you need to be on the cutting edge of international research and find practical advice on systems capabilities and use, Internet Research will keep you at the forefront of your profession.
